David Arnott Mosaics

 David Arnott is an award winning Mosaic Artist based in Salford, Manchester.

He specialises in creating ceramic portraits of iconic figures from the music, film and sport industry, each in their own unique styles,

Every mosaic is created using thousands of hand cut pieces of ceramic tile which produces exceptional fine detail and remarkable results. David has taken the Antoni Gaudi style that was originated in Spain and added his own modernised edge.

David started creating mosaics at the age of 16. He was studying at Salford College on a Wall and Floor tiling course and was ahead of the other students. He was therefore  challenged by his tutor to create a mosaic, which then led to David winning several awards for exceptional work off City and Guilds and a craft award off both Tiles UK and Salford College.

He has worked with many clients over the years and has created private work for some prestigious clients. He has pieces of artwork in different parts of the world, including China, USA and Dubai.
