The Worlds Most Expensive Mosaic

In 2018 David's collaboration with Debbie Wingham (A celebrity haute couture designer turned caketress) was revealed as the worlds most expensive mosaic. A client commissioned an edible scene inspired by a casino theme. The client wanted a way to present 4.5 million dollars worth of diamonds to their only child on his 35th birthday and wanted to combine it with a lasting art piece. So a worlds most expensive roulette table adorned with 3.5 million dollars worth of diamonds and a million dollar casino chip with a million dollars worth of diamonds was create. It was initially the most encrusted cake base and became a piece of art after the edible part was eaten. When creating the mosaic David included over 35,000 24 carat gold tiles and also gave them an outstanding finish using Diamond Dust grout. The edible part was created by the wonderfully talented Debbie Wingham, which included a cake alike of the son, edible roulette chips, a Gucci man bag and a 20inch roulette wheel cake. The roulette wheel cake was then replaced with the mosaic roulette wheel which completed the project. The family were all amazed and even revealed it in their family home, where they lived before they became billionaires.

To complete the mosaics David used Laticrete products as they always provide the best quality finish.
